Welcome to St. Matthew's Library and Computer News

Come in! Come in!
We are so lucky to have such an outstanding collection of materials here at the St. Matthew's library.  Many exciting books and adventures are waiting here for you.  Come in and "Check them Out!"
Book Reviews
In the back of the library you will see a board on which we feature new books reviews by students from each grade, each week.  Come in and check out the reviews!  They are awesome!
Volunteers
We have so many wonderful volunteers who help in the library each week.  They help the library run smoothly and efficiently so students and teachers are able to enjoy their time in here and get the books and materials they want more quickly.
Volunteers, thank you so much for all of the awesome jobs you do in the library!

Computer
We start the school year with several lessons on internet safety for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders in the computer lab.  We continue to remind, and review with the students the importance of this all year long.  We use the internet site netsmartzkids.org to help students understand the importance of being safe and smart online and offline.  This is a wonderful site for students and parents.  Feel free to look at it at any time to see what we are doing, and for ideas on how you can help your child be safe and smart on the internet.
